The opening segment of this past Friday night’s episode of SmackDown saw top pound-for-pound boxing champion Terence Crawford lend a helping hand to Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes by handing him a steel chair while he was getting beat down by A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller).
Shortly following the show, Waller and Crawford got into a verbal back-and-forth on Twitter (X).
Waller wrote, “Starting to get bored of these ‘athletes’ pretending they belong in our world.” “Just a heads up @terencecrawford – if you ever step foot in a WWE arena again, I will be there to slap some sense into you.”
Crawford responded, “I’m 40-0 for a reason if you ever slap me I would become 41-0. Wouldn’t end well for you lil man.”
