TNA Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim spoke with A Wrestling Gal’s Ella Jay on several pro-wrestling-related topics, including how there was a plan for her to return to the company last year to team with Mickie James. However, plans fell through.
Kim said, “It was a potential plan that did fall through. Of course, it would have been so exciting. I got super excited at the idea, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason. Mickie’s road went another way, and so it just wasn’t meant to be for that moment. That’s all.”
On if she would be open to the idea if it came up again:
“With that kind of situation, you say never say never. But I feel like I have so much to give behind the scenes, it’s very difficult…listen, if I’m ever gonna get back in the ring, I have to give a hundred million percent because I care that much about what the fans see, my legacy, all that. So it would be a hard decision, for sure. I’m not getting any younger.”
