Reigning NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd retained his championship against Ryohei Oiwa at the company’s Strong Style Evolved event this past Sunday and after the match, he cut a promo saying he would retire Kenny Omega at Wrestle Dynasty before running down the AEW roster.
Kidd then challenged pro wrestling veteran and top NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii to a championship match at Battle In The Valley on Saturday, January 11th, 2025.
