Adam Bomb (Bryan Clark), a former WWE star, was interviewed on Teddy Long and Mac Davis’ Road Trip After Hours YouTube channel.

Adam Bomb revealed that one of the identities pitched to him when he first entered the WWF was The Ringmaster, which was eventually utilized by Steve Austin.

“There were three (names he was presented with). There was one that sort of tied my military career to a character. The second one was Adam Bomb. The third one was The Ringmaster.”

He added, “Back in those days, what they did is they trademarked a lot of names. Adam Bomb, and of course, Steve Austin’s gimmick later on, of course, but they sort of had that in the bank and they brought it out, but that was one of the names. At the time, I felt of the three, I think that I could do the most with Adam Bomb, being a Three Mile Island deal with a nuclear monster. I felt like I could do a lot more with it. So that’s why I chose that one.”
