PROGRESS Wrestling announced that former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo has been pulled from his match with Cara Noir at the Vendetta 2 event on Sunday, November 24th due to an injury despite Vikingo already recovering.
PROGRESS wrote, “El Hijo Del Vikingo injury update:
Despite recovering he will not be ready to compete to the high level he would want for a European debut.
We are working on a new date with Vikingo and hope to see him very soon in a PROGRESS ring, hopefully before year end.”
Vikingo suffered a knee injury during TNA’s iMPACT tapings in a match against Trent Seven on October 27th. The former AAA Mega Champion noted after that the injury didn’t do significant ligament damage, and that he will be returning to the ring in 20 days time.
