Dominik Mysterio is having a fantastic year and has become one of the company’s most despised performers as a result of his actions during the storyline with Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. The former Tag Team Champion went on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast to discuss his current WWE TV appearances, future plans, and more.
On whether hearing boos from WWE fans concerns him:
“Not at all. I take pride in everything I do. As far as getting booed and stuff, dude, I could give a sh*t.
On how long he plans on wrestling:
“I love this business with all my heart, but I definitely don’t see myself doing it until the wheels fall off. I want to be smart about it. I want to have a family and have kids. I want to be able to play with my kids. I want to be able to run around with them.”
On how he likes being in a faction:
“I think it’s great. I think it benefits all of us. We don’t get lost. We can play off of each other. There’s a lot of group dynamic. I feel like there’s so many different characters and flavors. You got Carlito, JD, Rhea, Damian, Finn, and myself. Everyone brings something different to the table.”
On getting married:
“I feel like we played it smart as far as how everything goes. We waited for her to finish school before we got married. Before we even got engaged, I had to make sure that I was signed, sealed, and delivered with the new contract because we didn’t know if this was going to work out. I wasn’t signed. It was based off of dates here and there. We want to be smart about it. We want to be married for at least a year, see how it goes, and then maybe we’ll start talking about kids. I feel we’re still kind of young. We’re both 27.”
On how his wife feels about what he does:
“The woman is a saint. Shout out to Marie. She’s honestly the best. We’ve been together since we were 14. We’re 27 now. She’s been with me through thick and thin. She’s the best. I do what I do on TV and last week when Rhea licked my face, she understands the difference from when I’m TV I’m Dirty Dom and I come home to her and I’m her husband Dominik. There’s a huge difference as far as when I come home and I just want to rest. She does a good job of separating work and real life.”
On Dominik’s wife meeting Rhea Ripley:
“Rhea came to the wedding and it was great. We had a good time. The first time she met her was actually at WrestleMania two years ago in L.A.”
