On Thursday, the former Dolph Ziggler was spotted at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 with his brother, Ryan Nemeth.
When Ziggler and his brother were at ringside before the IWGP Tag Team & Strong Openweight Tag Team title match, he was identified as Nick Nemeth. After defeating Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley to become the first IWGP Global Champion, David Finlay was separated by security from the former WWE star.
This appearance comes after WWE released Ziggler and several other stars due to budget cuts following the sale to Endeavor.
Ziggler first appeared on the WWE main roster in 2004 as a member of The Spirit Squad cheerleader group. He also caddied for Chavo Guerrero during his transformation into Kerwin White before becoming a breakout singles star, mostly in the upper-mid card talent, where he held the Intercontinental and United States Titles several times.
While Ziggler only had one run as the World Heavyweight Champion, he dabbled in the main event scene briefly. Ziggler will wrestle Ray Gonzales in his first post-WWE match on January 6 at WWC Dia de Reyes in Puerto Rico.
