On December 4th, Destiny Wrestling rolled into the Don Kolov Arena in Mississauga, Ontario and presented its event “Homecoming” in front of a hot crowd.
This show marked a new era in Destiny Wrestling as it was the first show run by new owner Emilio Michael Albi.
The event was hosted by Alicia Atout.
The main event for “Homecoming” saw Destiny Wrestling World Champion Aiden Prince successfully defend his title as he turned back the challenge of indy sensation Blake Christian in a thrilling encounter.
This wasn’t the only championship match of the night for Aiden Prince as he was revealed to be the mystery partner for fellow Destroy faction member Gabriel Fuerza. Fuerza and Vaughn Vertigo currently hold the Destiny Wrestling Tag Team Titles but Vertigo had to pull out of the match due to an injury. Aiden Prince stepped in to team with Gabriel Fuerza and they defeated Air Strike to retain the titles.
A major announcement was made during “Homecoming” as it was revealed that the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) will be challenging Gabriel Fuerza and Vaughn Vertigo for the Destiny Wrestling Tag Team Championship on January 29th.
Gisele Shaw appeared on the big screen and called out KC Spinelli and Alexia Nicole prior to their match. Shaw offered the winner of the match a future shot at her Rebelution’s Woman’s Title.
