Former multiple-time ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe) has been using the Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Gimme Back My Bullets” as their official entrance theme music for a massive part of their careers until they weren’t legally allowed to do so.
Fellow AEW star Dax Harwood of FTR took to his official Twitter (X) account and revealed that he and AEW President/ROH owner Tony Khan worked together in order to get clearance for the song to be used by Mark Briscoe.
Harwood wrote, “Tony and I worked together on getting this song for Mark. It was so important for Tony to have this song on such a special night for Pugh family. Maybe I shouldn’t share this, but Tony’s exact words to me were… “This is the best $_____ I’ve ever spent.” That’s the kind of boss we work for.”
