According to Fightful Select, top NJPW star Gabe Kidd’s contract with the company is set to expire soon, and it would result in him being a free agent. It was also noted on the report that NJPW is most likely interested in keeping him, but there’s no word yet on if contract negotiation talks between both sides have already started.
AEW is also reportedly interested in signing Kidd to a contract, but that all depends on whether he re-signs with NJPW. Kidd, the current NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, has appeared at ROH’s television tapings in the past.
