During his appearance at Fanatics Fest NYC over the weekend, “The Best in the World” spoke about “The Greatest of All-Time” earning the right to do whatever he wants as part of his WWE farewell tour in 2025.

“John can do whatever John wants to when he comes back,” Punk said. “I, selfishly, would like to tag with him. This is John’s story. He has earned the right to come back and do whatever. He can put his dirty feet on the couch, get mud all over the couch, do whatever he wants.”

If working with Punk during his final estimated 36-dates with WWE is something Cena wants to do, Punk would be grateful.

“If I fit in to whatever he wants to do, then I’ll be grateful,” Punk said.
