Christy Hemme Departs TNA Amid Structural Changes In The Company

TNA Wrestling is undergoing significant behind-the-scenes changes, with longtime company figures Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme both exiting, along with TNA President Anthony Cicione.

According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp and PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Cicione has stepped down from his role as President of TNA Wrestling and its parent company, Anthem Entertainment Group. As of now, it remains unclear who will replace him, but a new executive has been brought in to oversee production and other aspects of TNA’s operations.

Before her exit, Hemme was in charge of TNA’s social media operations. Former WWE Diva Search winner, Hemme joined TNA in 2006 after her stint in WWE. Initially, she served as a host and co-host for various programs before training as an in-ring competitor. She even challenged for the TNA Knockouts Championship at one point.

Beyond her wrestling career, Hemme managed Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave as part of The Rock ‘n Rave Infection. From 2011 to 2016, she worked as a ring announcer and backstage interviewer before transitioning to a behind-the-scenes role from 2014 to 2016. She returned to TNA in 2023 but has now officially parted ways with the company.

With Mathews, Hemme, and Cicione all exiting within a short time frame, TNA appears to be in the midst of a significant internal shake-up. With new leadership incoming, fans and industry insiders will be watching closely to see how the company moves forward in the coming months.
