Here are some AEW news items via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com:
– Chris Jericho will possibly be off AEW television in early December as his band Fozzy has a United Kingdom tour scheduled. Meltzer noted that Jericho “may appear on the shows doing pretapes depending on where his storyline is.”
– Last week, Mark Henry criticized “Hangman” Adam Page giving PAC a deadeye off a ladder through a table as PAC allegedly “just had a concussion a month and a half ago.”
Meltzer wrote that Henry’s claim was “inaccurate” and that PAC “hasn’t had one any time remotely recently.”
– Arthur Ashe Stadium paid for an advertisement in the Sports Business Journal which was said to be unbeknownst to people in AEW. The ad read as follows:
“Thank you to Tony Khan, Rafael Morffi and the entire team at All Elite Wrestling for bringing the largest attended pro wrestling event in over a decade NYC.”
Meltzer noted that it was actually the largest attended wrestling event in New York City since the 1980’s.
