Given that his career has lasted more than three decades, Chris Jericho is one of the most well-known names in professional wrestling.
According to a recent report, Sasha Banks will earn more money from her NJPW contract than Jericho did while working there from 2018 to 2020 and appearing at Wrestle Kingdom events.
When Jericho saw the report, he took to Twitter to clarify that he was paid according to the event in NJPW. He also claimed that he earned more money from each event than he did from the majority of WrestleMania matches.
Jericho wrote, “For the record, the money I reportedly made during my run with @njpw1972 from 2018-2020 online currently is completely wrong. I never had a flat per appearance deal, I was paid according to the event. And I made more per event than I did for MOST of my WrestleMania matches.”
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho put over Action Andretti because he believes Andretti will be a star.
