As PWMania.com previously reported, reigning ROH World Champion and top AEW star Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance at GCW’s Highest In The Room 3 event this past Saturday. He attacked Effy and his title challenger at ROH Final Battle, Matt Cardona.
Shortly following the show, Jericho took to his Instagram and commented on the suprise appearance.
Jericho wrote, “…Hi @themattcardona 👋🌳 you didn’t think that the King of New York would pop up in Los Angeles at your @gamechangerwrestling Indy Event, did you? You made a big mistake forgetting who you’re dealing with……I always get my man! See you at #rohfinalbattle. @aew @ringofhonor”

Cardona will challenge Jericho for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle on Friday, December 20 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
