Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton had a heated exchange during a promo segment on an episode of WWE SmackDown.
Flair took to her Twitter (X) account and commented on the highly controversial segment.
Flair wrote, “After being blindsided by my personal trauma on live television, my character said something on-air that was not true, and I’d like to take this opportunity to clear the air. I should have NEVER called the Chicago fans smart. I sincerely apologize.”
Charlotte Flair will challenge Tiffany Stratton for her WWE Women’s Title at Night of WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19th, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
