Carmelo Hayes, who is one of the most dominant WWE NXT Champions in company history after holding the WWE NXT Title for 182 days, lost the championship to Ilja Dragunov at this past Saturday’s WWE NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event.
Hayes recently took to his Twitter (X) and addressed his time as WWE NXT Champion as well as his loss at WWE NXT No Mercy.
He wrote, “Did what I said I was gonna do with the NXT Championship. Went out like a G. Thank you #NXTNoMercy”
