Carmelo Hayes Reacts Potentially Facing Velveteen Dream at WWE NXT Worlds Collide

Patrick Clark, who previously competed for WWE under the ring name ‘Velveteen Dream,’ has been posting things on social media that give the impression that he is interested in returning to the company. 

In 2020, Clark was accused of sending sexually explicit photos to minors. He admitted that the photos were of him but said that he was the victim of a hacking attempt. In 2021, five months after his final match, Dream was released from WWE.

NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes stated on his Twitter account that he is looking for an opponent for the NXT Worlds Collide event that will take place the following Sunday. Hayes gave the following explanation in response to a fan who suggested Dream:
