According to the records kept by Cobb County in Marietta, Georgia, on July 13th, former WCW and WWE star Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was taken into custody.
According to the documents, he was stopped for speeding, which is considered a misdemeanor. In addition to that, he was accused of driving under the influence of drugs, which is also considered a misdemeanor. On July 15th, he was granted his release from jail.
This appears to be an unfortunate setback for Bagwell, who has spoken about getting sober with the help of Diamond Dallas Page and others in his life last August. Bagwell’s life has been complicated by the fact that this has happened. Bagwell had struggled for years with legal issues that were directly related to his substance abuse before he finally got sober last year.
