TNA Wrestling star Brian Myers appeared on Refinโ€™ It Up, where he talked about a number of topics including the company’s deal with Sportsnet potentially opening up other international deals.

Myers said, โ€œThat, I think, is the plan. Without knowing, I think that would be the ultimate goal. Iโ€™ve been part of TNA for over four years now, and the roster is so hard-working and so passionate, and I think the show is so different than the other big two companies per se that you might see on television. I think it offers something really different for a real wrestling fan. So thatโ€™s what I hope for, more eyes on the product.โ€

On how a better TV deal could take TNA to the next level:

โ€œI 100% believe that. I think, whether itโ€™s a streaming service or a cable channel that is in more homes, thatโ€™s the missing piece. Because the talentโ€™s there, the passionโ€™s there, the rosterโ€™s there. Even the shit Eric Tompkins does behind the scenes, making us all look cooler than we really are with the packages and the vignettes, itโ€™s all there. Itโ€™s just a matter of eyeballs, and I think thatโ€™s the move.โ€

On WWE RAWโ€™s Netflix premiere:

โ€œI was just like, man, this feels big. This feels bigger than wrestling. That was the first time I was like, โ€˜Damn, man. This is different.โ€™ But itโ€™s still wrestling. So itโ€™s like that money is gonna roll downhill and hopefully land in TNAโ€™s lap [laughs], and we can do something ourselves on a streaming platform.โ€
