This week, Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross have made numerous public comments about each other.

First, during an appearance on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Kross was asked if they had any real-life heat, to which he replied that they did not. This came after they worked a feud that pitted The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar) against Lashley and The Street Profits in a Philadelphia street fight at WrestleMania 40.

While doing a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, Lashley was asked about Kross, and he praised him. He also stated that WWE could do more with Kross and that he is not being used to his full potential.

Kross stated in the Insight interview that he wanted to stage a legitimate backstage fight to give the impression that they didn’t get along. However, Lashley saw it as a bad idea and rejected it.

Lashley said during the signing, “There was one time we were starting our feud together. I was like, ‘Man, I think we should just get in a fight.’ Because there’s not too many people that I could actually do that with and Kross has the martial arts background and he has a boxing background, he has a jiu-jitsu background and for us, we were both itching to be a part of something and I was like, ‘Let’s just go and start slugging it out,’ and if people break it up, it’s gonna help out our feud and I think it brings a lot more attention to it because they were putting us together in this feud right before WrestleMania and wasn’t giving us an opportunity to really go after each other. So I was like, ‘Man, this might be the thing to kind of spark the feud and bring a lot more attention to it.’ But I think it just naturally brought some attention to it because I think a lot of people just wanted to see us and they wanted to see him and his group do something so it just kind of went together.”
