During Friday night’s WWE SmackDown debut episode on the USA Network, “The OTC,” Roman Reigns made his highly-anticipated return and helped Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes lay waste to The Bloodline after Rhodes successfully defended his championship against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match.
Later in the broadcast, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis stood in the middle of the ring in hopes that Rhodes and Reigns sign a contract for a blockbuster tag team match at Bad Blood. Both Rhodes and Reigns hesitated at first, but ended up signing the contract after an altercation with The Bloodline.
It has since been made official that Rhodes and Reigns will face Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match.
WWE Bad Blood 2024 is set to take place on Saturday, October 5 from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
