Pro wrestling veteran BJ Whitmer was arrested in June of last year on charges of strangulation and second-degree burglary, which resulted in his immediate termination from AEW where he was working as a producer.
According to PWInsider.com, Whitmer was scheduled for sentencing yesterday based on the court records from Kentucky’s Boone County Criminal Court.
The report also states that Whitmer didn’t stand trial on the charges, which suggests that some plea deal was reached as Whitmer isn’t listed as incarcerated. Details on the sentencing have yet to be revealed.
