Barrie Wrestling Christmas Slamily Reunion Results (12/10/22)

On December 10th, Barrie Wrestling held its Christmas Slamily Reunion Event in Barrie, Ontario at the Ferris Lane Community Church in front of another packed house.

The main event for Barrie Wrestling’s Christmas Slamily Reunion featured Reverso defending his Barrie Wrestling Championship against indy sensation Jody Threat.

PWMania caught up with Reverso prior to the match and here is what he had to say about  Jody Threat:

“Jody Threat promises to be the first female heavyweight champion in Barrie wrestling history. She wants to inspire the little boys and girls, and pull off a ‘Christmas miracle’. I was like her once too, and I lost. Just like she is going to do at Slamily Reunion.”

Reverso was forced to eat his own words as Jody Threat defeated him and did in fact become the first female ever to hold the Barrie Heavyweight Championship.

Unfortunately for Jody Threat her title reign was very short lived as Kyle Boone cashed in the Kempenfest Cup and defeated Jody Threat to become the NEW Barrie Heavyweight Champion.

Kyle Boone won the Kempenfest Cup back on July 31 which gave him the right to cash it in for a shot at the Barrie Wrestling Championship anytime he wished.

There were two other championship matches on the card as the current Three Pistols Champion Myung Jae Lee defended the title against Kevin Blackwood.

The 400 North Tag Team Titles were on the line as the current tag team champions Gabriel Fuerza and Alexia Nicole (subbing for an injured Vaughn Vertigo) attempted to turn back the challenge of Puf and Pretty Ricky.

This show marked the final match of the heralded and well respected Notorious TID, Chris Tidwell of The Dirty Vets.

  • Barrie Heavyweight Championship: Jody Threat defeated Reverso (c) to become the NEW Barrie Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.
  • (Kyle Boone cashed in his Kempenfest Cup championship opportunity)
  • Barrie Heavyweight Championship: Kyle Boone defeated Jody Threat (c) to become the NEW Barrie Heavyweight Champion
  • Schwan Ross defeated Haley Dylan
  • John Atlas, Clay Wilson & Evan Greenaway beat Mikey Jenkins, Brother Earth & Nilo Reyes
  • 400 North Tag Team Championship: Puf and Pretty Ricky defeating Gabriel Fuerza and Alexia Nicole (c) (Nicole was subbing in for an injured Vaughn Vertigo. Puf and Pretty Ricky are the new champions)
