As PWMania.com previously reported, WWE announcer Michael Cole revealed during last Monday night’s post-Money in the Bank episode of RAW that New Catch Republic’s Tyler Bate suffered an injury and will be out of in-ring action for a bit.
The injury was said to have happened during the July 2nd episode of WWE NXT when Bate and Pete Dunne defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in tag team action.
According to Fightful Select, WWE still plans on using Bate’s tag team partner, “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne, on television moving forward.
Dunne returned to his old ring name after being called Butch in The Brawling Brutes earlier this year. He then formed a tag team with Bate called the New Catch Republic.
