ROH is planning to resume their TV production later this month. The company will be filming in Maryland and will be working alongside the Maryland Athletic Commission to make sure COVID-19 safety precautions are being taken. The tapings will be limited to essential staff/wrestlers and there will be no fans in attendance.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ROH officials have consulted with doctors from the Maryland Athletic Commission. They have also talked to MMA companies to determine the best course of action. The company will also be giving regular testing and are going to attempt to do what UFC did, as long as they are financially able to do so.
The entire ROH roster were recently told to begin a 14-day quarantine. That may mean several wrestlers will be pulled from independent events. As of now, the plan for the TV tapings is to feature a tournament, with eight shows taped this month to air in September.
Delirious (Hunter Johnson) will return to head of creative as Marty Scurll is currently on hiatus due to some claims made about him during the #SpeakingOut movement.
