Former MLW star Jacob Fatu was reported to have told people earlier this month that he was joining WWE. Since then, there has been speculation that Fatu could join the Bloodline faction alongside Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.
According to PWInsider.com, Fatu is no longer scheduled to appear at the upcoming WWE Draft-related TV tapings, despite initial expectations. It is believed that a plan is in place to have Fatu join the Bloodline, but one of PWInsider’s sources says there is no rush for his debut.
During an interview with WrestleRant, Booker T commented on rumors of Fatu’s debut with WWE.
“You know, I’ve been the advocate for Jacob Fatu. I don’t know if you know about it, but maybe six months back, I put out a post that I was doing everything I possibly could to get Jacob Fatu into the WWE. Just because I feel like he deserves to be there. He is truly a talent that we haven’t seen in many, many years. This guy’s really that good. And to be able to work with him up close and personal at Reality of Wrestling has been a joy for me. So, I don’t want to give anything away or anything like that, but I can tell you this: Jacob Fatu, he is definitely gonna make that move. And he’s gonna make that move real soon. Trust me.”
