Drew McIntyre’s contract situation is still unknown, other than the fact that nothing has changed since the previous report.

It is thought that McIntyre is unhappy with the way his character is being developed, and the two parties are at odds over the terms of a new contract. Since WrestleMania in Los Angeles, McIntyre has not made an appearance on WWE television and has been quiet on social media.

Fans have talked a lot about the possibility that he might appear at All In London this September, but that is not likely.

Due to the fact that his WWE contract expires months after All In and that, if (a big if), he leaves WWE, he wouldn’t be able to appear in AEW or anywhere else until 2024, Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there is “basically no chance” of that happening.

Additionally, it’s likely that WWE will extend his contract in order to make up for the time he missed due to an injury. Therefore, don’t expect to see McIntyre in a new promotion any time soon.
