– During a recent interview with TVInsider.com, Becky Lynch commented on Vince McMahon demonstrating a stunt:
“Vince is such a larger-than-life character. At the same time, I watched him the other day demonstrate falling off a tower at 74-years-old without a bother, brushing his shoulders off and standing up again.”
– Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is reporting that Rob Gronkowski was said to be “terrified” about doing his fall during the 24/7 Title segment at Wrestlemania 36. As a result, Vince McMahon reportedly demonstrated the spot himself to prove to Gronkowski that it was safe. Even with McMahon doing the spot, it apparently took a “significant amount of time” for Gronkowski to be convinced to perform it.
McMahon has been known for not forcing people to do a stunt that he wouldn’t do himself. There is footage of McMahon demonstrating the zipline stunt that was performed by Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 12.
