According to Fightful Select, two top stars from the U.K. wrestling scene have been gaining attention from WWE. Sources indicate that Man Like DeReiss and Rhio are potential signings on the company’s radar.
The report also mentioned that multiple WWE stars have advocated for both DeReiss and Rhio. There is no word yet on whether either star will attend WWE’s scheduled London tryout in March, leading up to WrestleMania. WWE has contacted wrestling schools and promotions to recruit talent for pre-WrestleMania appearances.
Rhio was seen at the WWE Performance Center during recent NXT shows, though she was only visiting then. She and DeReiss also trained at the legendary Hart Dungeon in the U.S. this past year. WWE signing them was a hot topic backstage at PROGRESS Wrestling’s Valentine’s Day event. Both DeReiss and Rhio previously appeared on NXT UK.
