A Title vs. Mask Match between ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Bandido was recently announced for Jericho’s ROH World Championship at Dynasty. However, the match announcement only came weeks after Jericho made the challenge on Dynamite.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the delay in announcing the match was caused by an issue involving Bandido’s representatives. The report also noted that sources described the situation as ridiculous, as it took a few weeks to finalize a match for the show that had already been made.
Shortly before AEW President Tony Khan announced it, it was said to be still up in the air.
