The opening match of this past weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special saw Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defeat Nia Jax to retain her championship.
According to Fightful Select, Ripley had the wind knocked out of her during the match but was okay afterward.
Speaking of the show, the main event match between “Main Event” Jey Uso and World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER looked like it might go over time but finished at the top of the hour as scheduled.
