Backstage News On Return Of Top AEW Star

In the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW star Juice Robinson is just a few weeks away from resuming his in-ring training and will return to the company shortly after. Robinson has been on the sidelines since the November 27, 2024 episode of Collision after suffering a broken fibula during his Continental Classic Match against Will Ospreay.

Robinson still managed to finish the match, but he ultimately came up short against Ospreay and was later replaced by Komander. Robinson underwent surgery on December 9th, 2024, to repair the damage.

Meltzer said, “Juice Robinson is a few weeks from beginning in-ring training. At that point, a timeline should be set for a return. Robinson snapped his fibula, landing on it badly in a routine roll-up spot before the Styles Clash in his 11/27 Continental Classic match with Will Ospreay in Chicago. He had surgery to repair it on 12/9.”
