AEW sources said that her appearance was the most positive news they had heard about Hayter, though it was noted that several talents who were off of TV did have to show up for the physicals as well. The report also states that talents have not yet heard much about Hayter’s status and she has not been regularly backstage of late as she is said to be keeping to herself and focusing on her recovery.
There were discussions about the possibility of her return sometime this year, and there have even been talents who have had matches pitched to them involving Hayter at some point. Those that they spoke to who are close to her and AEW are confident that a return is in the cards. Hayter has not yet responded to requests to confirm details and there is no exact date when she can return to the company.
