WWE and CM Punk are continuing their honeymoon period after his return to the company at Survivor Series last month following the Men’s War Games Match, which was kept a secret.

The agreement for him to return was made ten days before he returned. It’s a multi-year agreement. He made a surprise appearance at the NXT Deadline PLE over the weekend for a segment with Shawn Michaels and appeared on last week’s episode of SmackDown.

Punk appeared on Monday’s RAW, where he had a heated segment with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins before declaring his intention to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. In the near future, the two intend to collaborate on a program.

He was also seen visiting with talent backstage at Tuesday’s NXT TV event.

According to PWInsider, CM Punk is at the WWE Performance Center today, “training and holding court with NXT talents.” It was said that there was “a massive genuine excitement” when Punk arrived and spent the day with the talent.

WWE plans to tape two weeks of NXT television from the PC tonight, but it’s unclear whether Punk will appear on NXT again.
