“The American Dragon” hasn’t been 100-percent for a while.
Fightful Select is reporting that Bryan Danielson has been “banged up,” which is why he hasn’t been wrestling much at all in recent months.
Outside of multi-person matches on limited occasions, Danielson has been kept to primarily doing special guest commentary alongside Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz on AEW Dynamite.
Danielson’s last match was at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2023 show, where he worked in the Anarchy in the Arena match, however even in that case, his physicality was kept limited due to his condition going into the bout.
His last singles match was the AEW Revolution showdown against MJF.
