Britt Baker has been a top star for All Elite Wrestling for many years, as she was one of the first to sign with the promotion when it first began in 2019.
She is a dentist in addition to being a wrestler. D.M.D. is an abbreviation for Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Because they are a real-life couple, she was one of the reasons Adam Cole left WWE for AEW.
Baker was not used as a top-tier star on television in 2023, nor did she have a run as the AEW Women’s Champion, as her last two matches were on September 13th and 16th, leading to speculation that she was injured.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “The reason Britt Baker hasn’t been around apparently is an injury situation.”
AEW President Tony Khan mentioned Baker, Pac, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and Jamie Hayter as key talent currently sidelined with injuries during the Worlds End media call on Thursday.
