Backstage News On Britt Baker Returning To AEW TV Following Suspension

AEW fans won’t have to wait long to see Britt Baker return to television.

Baker has been in the news for several days following her confrontation with MJF and his girlfriend/AEW on-screen talent Alicia Atout. The company’s disciplinary committee suspended Baker for one or two weeks and penalized her for her behavior at the Dynamite on July 17th.

Baker allegedly called Atout a ‘Stupid f***ing b***’ after Alicia Atout notified MJF that Baker was berating him and gossiping about MJF and Will Ospreay. The incident occurred right after MJF’s match against Ospreay.

The dispute led to MJF striking a wall before his hour-long bout. AEW apparently did not suspend MJF because HR interpreted it as MJF defending Atout and did not believe it should be punished.

According to PWInsider.com, Baker is slated to return on television tonight for Dynamite. The promotion has yet to confirm her appearance on the show. She is still set to face Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship at All In later this month.

In further good news, Baker has been cast in the Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” where she will purportedly portray a “European fighter competing as part of a team in an international karate tournament.”
