Backstage News From The 2020 WWE Money in the Bank PPV

Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co was able to provide some backstage news and notes from the 2020 WWE Money in the Bank PPV:

* The Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt match was pre-taped because WWE didn’t want one of the puppeteers for Wyatt’s puppets to accidentally be seen on camera. Davis noted that at last word, the Strowman/Wyatt feud will be continuing.

* Davis explained the situation with using Vince McMahon’s office:

“I was told that a writer suggested having wrestlers fight in Vince’s office but Vince was not on board with having his office trashed because he doesn’t want anyone near the dinosaur bones on his wall.”

* The PPV runtime was 2 hours and 23 minutes, making it one of the shortest WWE main roster PPV events since the In Your House era. It was reportedly Vince McMahon’s decision to keep the PPV short and the current belief is that upcoming shows will be shorter until fans are able to be in attendance again.
