Lucha Libre star Angel Mortal Jr. took to his Instagram and announced he is giving up the La Parka Negra character he used in AAA. Mortal Jr. debuted in the promotion in 2017 and is the fourth person to play the character.

Undoubtedly, one of the greatest stages of my career was taking possession of La Parka Negra, a character that since its creation has had only one purpose; to confront La Parka, but life takes many turns and today I not only realize how much I walked with this character, but also how much he has given me. Only I know the reasons why you must take firm decisions, and it gives me great pleasure to know how well I clicked with La Parka Negra is an ineffable feeling. In a few words, it felt to me like Venom and Spiderman dinamic, and that feeling is only when I wear the mask that for me is a symbol more than an object, it is given the importance it should be, and more for not being my mask, my name, my character; respect is respect here and everywhere.
