AEW star Andrade El Idolo posted a cryptic tweet today. The tweet is a response to rumors that WWE has been communicating with several wrestlers currently employed by the company.
Malakai Black was granted his conditional release last weekend, and he has announced that he would be taking some time off from wrestling in order to deal with some personal matters. Buddy Matthews said over the weekend that he will also be taking some time off from professional wrestling in order to refuel and refresh himself.
As can be seen in the following image, AEW wished Matthews a happy birthday, indicating that he is most likely still employed by the business; nevertheless, there have been reports circulating regarding a few individuals that have reportedly received feelers from WWE. Matthews was said to have been sent feelers, and Ryan Frederick of the Wrestling Observer stated that Andrade “very possibly” was also sent feelers by them.

This morning, Andrade sent out a tweet that included an hourglass. Andrade last competed at All Out in the Casino Ladder Match. The message might be interpreted to suggest that he is getting set to return to AEW TV, but due to the recent speculations, some fans on social media are wondering whether a return to WWE is in the cards for him. There is currently no evidence to suggest that he will be leaving AEW at this time.
