As PWMania.com previously reported, WWE star AJ Styles and former TNA star Monty Brown were both considered for the TTNA Hall of Fame induction ceremony at one point, and Matt Hardy even publicly confirmed that the company wanted to induct Brown, but it didn’t end up happening.
Styles took to his official Twitter (X) account and said it was his decision to turn down the Hall of Fame induction and not the WWE’s.
Styles wrote, “I’m still an active wrestler…I hope. I made the decision not to go into the TNA HOF, not WWE. I appreciate TNA, but I don’t want to go into any HOF as long as I’m still active. My choice”
The Phenomenal One is currently out of in-ring action due to a a mid-foot ligament sprain.
