It had been speculated for days that AEW may have chosen not to renew a talent contract and let the deal expire, an approach the promotion takes rather than releasing someone.
Brock Anderson, Arn Anderson’s son, has finished his time with All Elite Wrestling.
Brock, who graduated as the state’s 24th best linebacker, attended Providence High School in Charlotte before entering the wrestling business and was trained at the Nightmare Factory by QT Marshall and Glacier.
He signed with AEW in March 2021, and recently appeared on Collision, where he saved Darby Allin and promoted Luchasaurus and Christian Cage. As a result, he quickly lost a match to Luchasaurus.
Brock confirmed his departure with the following statement:
“To those that’ve supported me and helped me THANK YOU. To my detractors, that’s your right to an opinion. All I can do, to quote @dustinrhodes is, “Keep Steppin”. On to the next chapter… #prowrestling”
