AEW Star Returns To In-Ring Action At Collision Tapings

An AEW star has returned to the ring after a five-month hiatus.

AEW taped this Saturday’s Collision episode, which will air on TNT from Dayton, Ohio, on Thursday night. Yuka Sakazaki returned for the tapings. This followed AEW President Tony Khan’s announcement on social media that Sakazaki had been cleared to return to the squared circle.

This Saturday’s episode featured her competing in singles against Serena Deeb. You can check out the full spoilers by clicking here.

The AEW star was injured while wrestling Emi Sakura on April 20th’s episode of AEW Rampage. She made her AEW debut in 2019 at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, where she competed in tag team action alongside Emi Sakura and Aja Kong against Hikaru Shida, Riho, and Ryo Mizunami.

She later worked at the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament two years later, as well as the Owen Hart Foundation 2022 Women’s Tournament. While at AEW, she worked on all of their programs, including Dynamite, Rampage, and Dark.
