AEW has a diverse roster that includes wrestlers of all ages, from inexperienced newcomers to seasoned veterans.
The tag team division has been strong since the promotion’s launch in 2019, with FTR being one of the core tag teams on the roster. However, Dax Harwood understands that he cannot continue to wrestle indefinitely.
Harwood has wrestled for two decades, including a successful run in WWE as The Revival with his longtime tag team partner Cash Wheeler. Harwood revealed in an Instagram Live Q&A that once he retires from wrestling, he intends to open a wrestling school.
Harwood stated, “So, my plans after being done in the ring are already in motion. I don’t know how much I can tell ya. But I can tell ya that there’s already a ring, there’s already a building, there’s already equipment and the idea is to obviously open a wrestling school with three of my friends. I’ll just leave it at that and you know, hopefully that will allow people to live a 20-year dream just like I did.”
Harwood didn’t go into detail about his planned wrestling school, but it’s likely Wheeler will help him run it. FTR didn’t have a match scheduled for Dynamite, Collision, or All Out.
