It was previously reported by PWMania.com that the main event of this past Saturday’s AEW Worlds End PPV saw Samoa Joe defeat MJF to become the new AEW World Champion. Immediately following the PPV, Joe took part in the Worlds End media scrum and talked about a number of topics including winning the AEW World Title and changing the design of the World Title from MJF’s version.
According to Fightful Select, steps have been taken to make some changes to the AEW World Championship title and at the very least, those changes include some custom side plate options. It was also mentioned on the report that the new World Title design features an alternate version of the company’s logo on the main center plate and side plates, with a black painted background for the AEW logo.
