AEW taped tonight’s Grand Slam: Australia special earlier today in Brisbane, Australia. The event, which will air on TNT following NBA All-Star coverage, was initially planned for the 52,000-capacity Suncorp Stadium but was relocated to the Brisbane Entertainment Center, reportedly due to slow ticket sales. However, AEW CEO Tony Khan clarified that the event was always intended as a TV special.
During the broadcast, Ticketek and AEW announced that they will return to Australia for another event in 2026. A waitlist for tickets has already been launched, with a promotional message inviting fans to experience AEW’s signature hard-hitting action, diverse wrestling styles, and twist-filled storylines. Fans can join the waitlist via the Ticketek website for updates and pre-sale access.
Stay tuned for AEW Grand Slam: Australia results and further details on AEW’s return to Australia next year.
