AEW President Tony Khan took to his official Twitter (X) account and announced that “Hangman” Adam Page is set to reveal his status for this Sunday’s Revolution PPV on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. Page was scheduled to face Swerve Strickland and AEW World Champion Samoa Joe in a 3-Way Match, with Joe’s world title on the line.
Page was believed to have been injured a week ago, but Fightful Select later noted that it was just a work. A separate report revealed that AEW did the injury angle because the former AEW World Champion may not be able to compete at Revolution for personal reasons.
Already announced for tonight’s show are Sting’s final appearance, “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay addressing the fans and the Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley and “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson) facing FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and AEW Continental Crown Champion Eddie Kingston in a trios match.
After rumors surfaced of a potential injury to Hangman going into the 3 Way Match for the @AEW World Championship this Sunday on ppv at #AEWRevolution, Hangman Adam Page will address his status live on TBS on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TOMORROW!
