WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash appeared on an episode of his Kliq This podcast and discussed various topics, including how he thinks the pressure of WrestleMania 41 is getting to Jey Uso and how Uso needs to relax a bit.
Nash said, “I thought Jey looked tired. I think Jey looks like he’s put some weight on. I think the pressure of this spot is weighing on him… He’s over as f**k. He’s just gotta relax. I think he needs to do some cardio… I don’t know how many house shows they’re even doing.”
On Uso’s entrance being a possible issue:
“That Yeet thing is like Jazzercise. Don’t go to the corners, don’t jump up, just do it right in the middle of the f***ing ring… He’s gotta just save his energy and then he [can] Yeet all he wants after he wins.”
On how part of the promo John Cena cut after his heel turn resonated with him:
“I think all of us, all the boys at some point, as the years go on and it gets towards the end of our runs, that you have like a feeling … you got used and abused and when you’re done man, they just put you out to pasture and so many guys have nothing to show for it.” Nash said. “You’ve been married for 30 years with somebody and then one morning you get up and you’ve got separate sinks and you just look over, you go, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore’ … I don’t think that resonates in two seconds and I think that’s what this is. I think it’s got to be a slow burn like that.”
