Homicide wrestled his retirement match on Thursday night, teaming with Bull James to score a victory over Mike Santana and Afa Jr. at an Outlaw Wrestling event in Brooklyn.
Following the match, the locker room emptied to pay tribute to the veteran, showing their respect and admiration. Homicide had previously announced his retirement in an emotional Facebook post, revealing that doctors had found a brain cyst.
He shared that the cyst had been affecting him for several months, leading to deteriorating vision and speech issues. With a career spanning nearly 32 years, Homicide made his mark across almost every major wrestling promotion—except WWE.
Several heartfelt tributes have since poured in, celebrating his legacy and impact on the wrestling world.

The pop when Homicide kicked out of Bryan Danielson’s SMALL PACKAGE in New York en route to becoming ROH Champion is still one of the loudest I’ve ever heard live.
And he was always cool to me because Eddie told him I was cool. All the best, to Eddie’s friend. https://t.co/sz3qai1OQy
